This is the flattest, most appalling collection we've had for a while.
The Lace Insert Swing Dress is so badly proportioned, flat-looking, and straight up ugly. Oh, the Studded Ruffles Skirt looks like one of twenty other dupes we've had this year, not to mention, what the hell happened to the shading???? It's like a flat piece of plastic! Not fabric at all! The Lace items are redeemable for their lace but ... if not for that, they still suffer the same fate as the rest of this collection.
And have I mentioned how much I HATE it when we receive multiples of the same items in the same colour??? If it's not in BASICS, don't do that. Although, these are so horrendous they probably don't deserve to actually be in BASICS, either.
The Velvet Jumpsuits are the only decent items in terms of quality, but honestly, we've had far too many plain jumpsuits. And I can count on one hand the number of dolls I've seen wearing them. They would have gone better as a top and bottom, but then, I'd be bringing out another dupes post.
NOTHING of this collection was worth having. NOTHING. So forgive me for not bothering to post my picks. There just aren't any!
I agree with you, Stardoll is very disoriented about the theme of their stores ... the collection for Tingelin Halloween Couture was more assured for angel failure.
ReplyDeleteThis store is supposed to be the Stardoll Gothic shop and I do not see a well-armed collection, I only see loose garments, not concepts, garments that go a long way with Gothic style.
