Modcloth
More a store than a brand - though they do have their own designs - Modcloth is awesome. They don't photoshop their images, they have plus sized clothes in the same designs as regular and petite, and they have such a huge variety within their store. Also, tartan. I love my tartan.

If I had to pick a local brand, I'd go with Karen Walker - I've already made a few inspired PNG items. I just love the mix of super feminine ruffles and florals, with the grunge shapes and masculine styling. Pictured up the top, too!
