What I Loved:
The concepts for the items are awesome, well on-trend and creative. There's such a great mix of staple pieces and statements that I don't feel bad splurging, as I suspect these will all still be in, or at least wearable, come the next year.
The overall theme wasn't super specific, but the colour palette and overall neutral tones go really well together, so I don't care too much.
I'm also glad the "Gladiator Pink Heels" are called... you know, pink. And not nude for once.
What I'm Unsure About:
The graphics. On the spoilers, they looked awesome. In reality? They're hit-and-miss at best. Which is sad.
The prices are all over the place as well. 14sd for an overall skirt is perfect, 5sd for a belt is awesome, but 17 for half of a jacket is a bit too much. Not to mention - there's no starcoin items!!!!
The "Girls Bite Back" text makes me think Stardoll is a bit ...clueless. It alludes to a movement that, conscidering they plasterer Melanie Matinez over the comp page in the past month, not to mention their clear lack of care for real time, real world issues and debates, it seems sort of wrong for them to display.
What I Hated:
Don't get me started... oh wait, no, please do.
The"Denim Shift Dress" is several levels of monstrous ugly everything. The fit is awful. The colours are just as bad. The graphic textures are even worse. The fact you can make a nicer-looking dupe for around the same cost is downright tragic.
The "Collared Checkered Dress" is sad - the print is cool, as is the concept, but the bulky top with it's awkward sleeves, oddly proportioned collar and generally weird shading just ends up looking oh-so-wrong and undesirable on my doll.
The "In Hand Faux Fur Jacket" looks like it has a ...troll meme face on it? Why they didn't make i all gold I never will know, because whatever that black-and-white patch is, it looks awful.
Overall: 7/10
It had potential. And then it lost me.
