The bad starts with the item selection - of all the possible items from so many years of being in business, they chose some of the absolute worst items from the 2018 season. While I can understand that they're eager to actually get the trends up on time for once, there were so many more lovely - aka not hideous - items from their recent launch too. Instead, they chose to use items as worn by Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner - basically, the last people I'd personally go to for fashion advice, even if they don't get a say in their runway outfits. The Stardoll prices reflect their medicrity - tribute-twenties mixed with over expectant thirties.
Seriously, though, their 2018 pre-fall collection is my definition of a must-have collection. There's prints and statement pieces. There's basics. There's textures. But oh no, we couldn't possibly get that now, could we?
