I recently wrote a review on the hideously expensive new collection of Voile. So, I decided today to give the rest of the plaza a chance to show what it's got in terms of less-expensive bridal wear.

But first, a history lesson!

Dress Up Dolls:

Once the heart of Stardoll, dress up dolls have all but faded into obscurity. But that doesn't mean we have to forget about them. To be honest, I'm not sure why she's called a "Beach Bride", because other than the hair, there's nothing remotely beachy going on! But you can always visit her HERE.

Perfect Day Store:

"Perfect Day" was a separate store, later merging with Voile. It focused on a large variety of historical, traditional, and just "other" bridal-wear. Yes, that's right, stardoll has made brides blush before.

A large number of the items are still available in the catalog - simply use the store filter, and they'll pop up.

Previous Voile:

There has also been a number of previous Voile collections based around bridal wear. In general, the store has always been very formal, but these releases took it to another level. But unlike the most recent release, they weren't all white, overpriced, flat-looking dresses.

As mentioned above, a number of items previously in Perfect Day ended up being combined with Voile's bridalwear collection.

Golden Sands Window:

A small, mini-store section of Golden Sands released this small beach-bride inspired collection.

Freebies:

Over the years, there have been a number of bridal-themed freebies, individual dresses, and a large variety of veils.
