Honestly, I don't remember where I got the bag from, only that it was some kind of free gift, I'm presuming from one of the stardoll apps. It has a weird cross between the old, 2005/6 graphics and the modern ones, and personally it's not an item I would ever buy - I don't really like pink, for starters, or random scattered jewels, or bags with two strap options.... Anyway!
Option 1 -
Making a statement out of a piece that you hate always feels like I'm betraying my own sense of style, but sometimes, it's the best way to make a bad piece work. With the bag being largely pale pink, I contrasted it with black staple pieces and minimalist white accessories.
Option 2 -
Did I mention I don't really like pink? Because I don't like pink all that much, I don't have an awful lot of it in my closet. So to further feminine this look, I went all-white with a fluffy bow necktie. Although the bag is still a main piece, your attention is also draw upwards, evening out the focus.
Option 3 -
By introducing more colour - specifically, the navy skirt, tie, and heart-printed neck-piece, some of the focus is taken from the super pink, super pretty bag. I still wanted it to be the main point of interest though, so everything in the outfit is angling towards the bag to draw your eye.
