How to wear Silver with Gold:
I noted while judging for FM-style's 13th cycle that many contestants were confused as to why silver and gold shouldn't go together - the thing is, like any other colour combo, I fully believe that they CAN go together! But you can't just stick any piece, anywhere. When colours contrast, they clash, and that can look messy if there's nothing working to co-ordinate the two. Please keep in mind, these are MY personal tips and are not that of the other judges.

My Tips:
Go big, or go home. A single gold zip with a silver bangle is just lazy styling - if you want to make it work, add more of both!
With the look below, I used the bustier's gold and silver sequins, and the Chanel bag's silver chain with golden catch.
Neutralize, neutralize, neutralize! Metallics are almost always statement pieces, however much you use of them, so be sure to make the most of using two at once. Stick with black, white, browns and denims. If you want to add depth, try black and white laces, furs, and sequins.
With the look below, I used gold as the main focus - shirt , bags, shoe buckle - and made the silver - bag chain, zippers on jackets, belt catch - into the accent.

Don't forget, gold and silver aren't the only metals around - I love rose gold, copper, and of course any colour sequin I can get my hands on. Layer several together all around your outfit for the most metallic effect.
With the look below, I used white to neutralise, and the brown pants compliment the rose gold necklace. The bracelet has gold, silver, and rose gold to tie in with all the other pieces.
