I've already done my Creation, so now it's time for a review. A bit backwards to the usual I know, but I just got so excited with all the stardoll versions there are out there.
If you're a nerd or get cold easily, a turtleneck was probably in your closet since long before their rise to popularity - this is me in both cases, if you didn't already figure that out. They're also great for people who just want to cover up some more skin.
Chokers really brought the focus on our necks back into fashion and I am so glad for it, because now I can not only wear my fan gear in public, but my knitted turtlenecks too. They're really great for layering over, like if you want to wear a light dress or singlet top.
And, there are so many different colours and styles. There's tall necks, lower ones, loose ones, tight ones. They're on dresses, shirts, onesies, jumpsuits. I even saw a few with cut-out pieces or in sheer fabrics which I think would be really good for transitioning seasons like Autumn and Spring.
As much as I personally love this as a trend, but turtlenecks are really preppy and so tend to go in and out of mainstream style a lot. So unless you just so happen to get cold in winter, these a probably not a trend you would want to buy a lot of, as turtlenecks are really hard to alter and update, especially since most are knitted or made of stretchy knit fabrics which miss-shape after a bit of wear.
