Velvet is such a craze at the moment. Pants, skirts, shirts, dresses, shoes, bags, chokers - if you can wear it, there's probably one out there made of velvet.
In Life:
Even though it's all over magazines and runways, I've so far not seen anyone just wearing it casually. As a kid, it was all the rage, but as an adult I'd only ever seen it in shops and shelves, not on real people. I think it looks awesome, bu it's just not a very practical thing to wear, or to wash.
In Stardoll:
Stardoll is a whole different thing when it comes to trending things. Velvet is definitely popular, there's enough of it left over from previous years as well as new ones so there's plenty to choose from. The best thing is that practicality is irrelevant, which is why this is so much more of a stardoll presence than a real-life one. Velvet is everywhere! It looks good, it's subtle, and I like it.
